Last updated August 2026

MyOfficeDays is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you. This policy explains what the app does and doesn't do with your information.

The short version: there are no servers, no accounts and no tracking. Your check-ins stay on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, where we can't see them and neither can your employer.

What we collect

We collect nothing. MyOfficeDays has no servers, no accounts, and sends no data anywhere.

What stays on your device

All data you create in MyOfficeDays (attendance records, check-in photos, leave entries, settings, and public holidays) is stored locally on your iPhone and backed up to your personal iCloud account. iCloud sync happens between your own devices only, under your Apple ID. We have no access to it.

Location

MyOfficeDays uses your device's location to:

Your location is never stored beyond the single coordinate optionally embedded in a check-in record, and it is never transmitted off your device.

Camera and photos

Photo proof is the default check-in method, and you can switch to quick mark at any time if you'd rather not use the camera. Check-in photos are saved to the app's local storage and to your device's photo library, so they will sync to your own iCloud Photos if you have that turned on. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else.

Your employer

MyOfficeDays is a personal record, not a reporting tool. There is no employer dashboard, no shared account and no way for anyone else to see your check-ins. What you do with your own record, such as showing a manager your history, is entirely your choice.

Permissions

The app asks for location permission so check-ins can be verified against your office geofence, and for camera and photo access if you use photo-proof check-ins. You can decline or revoke either at any time in the iOS Settings app; some features will be limited without them.

Third parties

MyOfficeDays contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics frameworks, and no third-party tracking of any kind. The only external service the app contacts is a public holiday data API, which receives your selected country code to fetch holiday dates. No personal information is included in this request.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual check-ins in the app at any time. Deleting the app removes its local data from your device; anything held in your iCloud backup is managed through your Apple ID settings.

Children

MyOfficeDays is intended for working adults and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the updated date above will reflect it.
